Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

EdgeJar is a Windows desktop trading journal. We built it privacy-first: it connects to your crypto exchanges with read-only API keys and keeps your trading data on your own computer. This policy explains exactly what we collect and what we don't.

The short version: we only ever see the email address you use to log in. Your trades, balances, notes, and exchange API keys never reach our servers — they stay on your machine.

3. Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing, taxes, and card data under its own privacy policy. We receive only your subscription status and renewal date.

4. Authentication & email

Login, email confirmation, and password reset are handled by Supabase. Transactional emails (confirmation, password reset) are delivered through Brevo on our behalf. These providers process your email address solely to deliver those messages.

5. Cookies & local storage

The website uses your browser's local storage only to remember your language and light/dark theme preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data retention & deletion

Your trading data lives on your computer; deleting the app or its data file removes it. To delete your account and the email we hold, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold (your email and subscription status) at any time by contacting us.
