These terms govern your use of the EdgeJar desktop application and website (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using EdgeJar, you agree to them.

1. What EdgeJar is

EdgeJar is a personal trading journal. It connects to supported crypto exchanges with read-only API keys to import your trade history and balances so you can review your performance. It does not place trades and cannot move your funds.

Not financial advice. EdgeJar is a record-keeping and analytics tool. Nothing in the app or on this site is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. You trade entirely at your own risk.

2. Subscription & license

EdgeJar is offered as a paid subscription ($5.99/month) after a free trial.
One subscription activates one active device at a time. You may move to another computer by signing in there — the previous session is released.
You may not share, resell, or sublicense your account, or attempt to bypass the single-device limit.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or misuse the Service, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and your exchange API keys secure.

4. Your data

Your trading data and API keys stay on your computer. See our Privacy Policy for details on the limited data we process (your email and subscription status).

5. Availability & updates

We may update EdgeJar to add features or fix issues. Some updates may be required to keep using the app. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeJar is not liable for any trading losses, missed data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Data imported from exchanges may be delayed or incomplete; always verify against your exchange.

7. Termination

You may stop using EdgeJar and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
